Paglia Sandals in woven leather

A sandal that recalls those found in the artisan workshops of the islands, where every pair comes out slightly different from the last. The leather is Italian, vegetable-tanned and then cut into thin strips woven by hand onto the footbed. The sole is reinforced leather, lightly bevelled at the edges, with a one-centimetre heel that improves posture without being noticeable. The strap adjusts with a small, lightly burnished brass buckle. Pair them with linen dresses, midi skirts and wide-leg trousers. Over time the leather darkens and moulds to the sole of the foot, becoming more personal every season.
