Sera Cardigan in cashmere

The cardigan you keep in your bag for summer evenings when the air conditioning bites, and that becomes indispensable from September onwards. The cashmere is Mongolian, knitted in fine two-ply plain stitch, with real mother-of-pearl buttons sewn by hand. The length stops at the waist, and the sleeves are lightly gathered along the arm before narrowing into a soft ribbed cuff. Wear it over a slip dress, or buttoned up as a top over a high-waisted skirt. Cashmere holds its temperature without bulk and improves in texture wash after wash, if treated with care.
